Incoming Message


Welcome all to the first update (super exciting),

Typewriter type effect and dialogue called from an array. I'm still working on cleaning up the arrays and pulling character specific dialogue and action based dialogue (i.e. collecting data, completing a level).

The effect was created by matching a variable to the character length of a rich text label until the 2 are equal, then producing a new line. This is because Godot has an issue with visible ratio not updating once text has been added. This does mean I can't think of a way to slow the effect down, but I will add progress of this along with the update.

Due to being part of a Game Jam, this will not be implemented until after judging has been completed. This does give me time to also polish this feature before going live with an update.
